My name is Sarah, I am the Venue Director at Vanderwende Acres. Over the past three years in the wedding industry, I’ve learned a lot and am super excited to share all of my tips and tricks with you. This is my very first blog post, so bear with me!
Vanderwende Acres is an open concept venue with natural light and greenery as far as the eye can see, and is neutrally colored throughout our spaces to help your unique vision come to life. Here are the Top 4 Tips for making the most out of our space with your design and style:
Fireplace Installations. Our mantle is patiently waiting for you or your florist to create a work of art. From cascading greenery to floral installations, the options are endless!

Hanging Florals. Who said chandeliers can’t have fun, too? This free flowing greenery really draws the eye up and completes your reception vision. I love when couples use greenery touches throughout, it really brings the venue to life.

Pops of Color. All of our spaces are neutral tones of whites and beige, so your colors can be the star of the show. Don’t be afraid to be bold!
