Hannah Cihocki – Venue Coordinator
Hannah graduated from Salisbury University in 2023 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. She was previously working part-time for a wedding venue and coordination business in Ocean City MD but quickly discovered she was ready to dive into a coordinator position. Her previous wedding venue experience, background in marketing, and completion of an internship in the floral industry has allowed her to be hired full-time by Vanderwende Acres.
In her free time, Hannah loves paddle boarding on Assateague Island, laying on the beach, or enjoying a day out on the boat!
We asked, what is her favorite part about her job? She answered “I love seeing couple’s visions and planning come to life! Often, couples are planning their wedding day for months, which can be very stressful. So watching the floral arrangements being placed, the candles lit, linens draped, and witnessing every detail come together the day of their wedding is magical. It’s a blessing to be able to play a role in the best day of people’s lives.”

Kyle Kerr – Operations Manager
Kyle is a current college student at Delaware Technical Community College, where he is pursuing a degree in Business Administrations. Kyle started at Vanderwende Acres as a part time parking lot attendant and now he is the operations manager.
When he’s not busy making wedding magic happen, you’ll probably find him deeply involved in 4H, where he’s passionate about youth development, and leadership. 4H has been a huge part of his life, and he loves giving back to the community through it.
And when he gets a free weekend? You’ll catch him at a concert, soaking up live music and making memories with friends
