Hannah Cihocki – Venue Coordinator
Hannah graduated from Salisbury University in 2023 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. She was previously working part-time for a wedding venue and coordination business in Ocean City MD but quickly discovered she was ready to dive into a coordinator position. Her previous wedding venue experience, background in marketing, and completion of an internship in the floral industry has allowed her to be hired full-time by Vanderwende Acres.
In her free time, Hannah loves paddle boarding on Assateague Island, laying on the beach, or enjoying a day out on the boat!
We asked, what is her favorite part about her job? She answered “I love seeing couple’s visions and planning come to life! Often, couples are planning their wedding day for months, which can be very stressful. So watching the floral arrangements being placed, the candles lit, linens draped, and witnessing every detail come together the day of their wedding is magical. It’s a blessing to be able to play a role in the best day of people’s lives.”

Caitlin Bunting – Events and Marketing Manager
Caitlin graduated from Salisbury University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. She began working with us part-time on wedding days while also at her full time job in the financial industry. Caitlin quickly fell in love with the job and everything about Vanderwende Acres and was hired full time. She now shows her love and enthusiasm of the venue through our social media so everyone can enjoy it as much as we do.
In her free time, if the weather is nice – you’ll find Caitlin at the beach relaxing and soaking up the sun!
We asked, what has been the most memorable part of your job so far? “Funny you ask! The most memorable day I’ve had working at Vanderwende Acres was actually the first wedding I ever worked. Not only did half of the vendors working the wedding get stuck in horrible traffic, ten minutes before the ceremony a hurricane decided to roll through! Even with those hiccups the wedding turned out perfectly for the couple. I definitely got to experience and learn a lot that first day!”
